Controller used to locate stolen X360

Protip if your X360 console gets jacked in a dorm/appartment complex...use the controller as a locator.  I just read an article over at Filefront where a guy's X360 was stolen and he used a very creative way to get it back.  By turning on the controller, he could tell if the controller was still connecting to the console.  Sure enough, it was.  Using the green indicators as guidance, he was able to single out not only the floor it was on, but even the room!  

The X360 controller's lights will blink once it reaches the end of its 30 ft range, so by going each direction down the hall and finding the midpoint between when the lights start flashing, he found the asshole's room that stole it.  

The controller was able to prove that the Xbox belonged to Ketsenburg, because the controller was able to turn on the console unit, he said.

"I'm going to try to prosecute to the fullest extent of the law, because I had to follow all the rules, so let's make sure it gets done right," Ketsenburg said.
